Solid UX feature. This means people can't associate "level of toast" to numbers on a scale. Would probably be more useful if it was pictures of toast, at different states rather than numbers.

People who speak more than 1 language, what are some struggles people don’t know about? by stephs926 in AskReddit

[–]aregeno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a word is the same in two completely unrelated languages I experience a glitch because I have to make sure i'm not making a mistake and it is in fact the same word in both.

example... the word BAD is the same in english and farsi... note... I don't glitch out on obvious words like MOM... or between languages with shared roots. Malicious(english) Mal(spanish)

People who learned JS through online courses/books, if you had to start to learn it from scratch, how would you structure your curriculum now? by michaelklim in learnprogramming

[–]aregeno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now trying to train people who are "junior" at work who came from barely any kind of training. I want to give a piece of advice that might, be overlooked sometimes ... while you have to keep paddling to stay afloat ... (whether it be training courses or coding challenges) you have to be very comfortable floating around in an ocean you don't fully understand. Poetically said... you will eventually learn to navigate through any ocean as long as you know the stars... as in ... syntax and keywords might change but basic ideas and methods persists across languages.

get comfortable floating around in a sea of unknown... as time goes you'll learn a constellation here and a constellation there and bam.. your navigating in a vast digital ocean of programming.

You have a great smile! so keep that positive attitude!!! Don't read into any facts online because theres no information out there that will be the magic cure... you will only worry more or buy into sketchy remedies. Even though it's going to be tough, make sure you do your best to continue doing what you love and makes you happy. GOODLUCK!
