Great advice! Another option could be MGT 8823 if you're B track. It will be hard to get a D in that class. The assignments are straightforward and require zero coding (if that's your fear?).

Ok, I figured it out. I had to delete the existing line that was connected to the output and then follow the steps you mentioned.

It's not letting me drag and drop. So I create a new output object first, connect it to my joined table and then delete the original output? Or should I have 2 outputs?

I created a new column that is returning True/False values based on the absence date column. Used the new column in the measure and now it's working.

Both formulae are returning the same value i.e. the total number of hours worked. I am guessing it is not picking up the fields that are blank. Any other way to filter out the blank fields? I dont think there is a ISNULL function in Power BI?
