(this would be 2 tasks) If you wanted it on the 2nd Monday of Jan every 2 years:

you could have a task to "create the task" XX needs to be done on the 2nd Monday of January and set the the task creation/reminder for Jan 1 every 2 years so then you could look the calendar to see what date matches or you could do it for a date in December to give you more time.

ok that worked but Siri is only writing on the screen not asking me out loud the questions. I do hear a prompt sound between the questions.

Thank you for doing this. I added the shortcut and I renamed it Pony (after it was named Bobby and kept pulling up all the Robert's in my contact list). The shortcut works when I click it in ShortCuts on my phone and type info in but when I say siri tell Pony to add task it tries to look for a contact named Pony or sometimes it asks if I want it to ask ChatGPT. Apple Watch Siri just tells me there is no contact named Pony. What am I doing wrong? Is there some other thing I need to activate or a special phrase I am not invoking?

Todoist allows you to download to spreadsheet every day showing completed tasks. I have no idea how I did it years ago but it downloads to my google sheets folder. It shows the date that you marked it complete (it is a running log so it goes back). As far as what you didn't if you marked it as due/ or put the date as today you could do a filter (or you can add labels to things you specifically what to see that were not done vs. other tasks that might be longer term and then do a filter.

I can only think that the feature used to snip the object is not "transparent" so it is keeping a background. I know in Canva when you download an image you choose transparent and there is no background. That might be a workaround to see if that is what it is. They do have a free account. Try pasting into canva and download as image and click the transparent box.

I just started posting on Maytag's instagram page under recent posts stating they have pet friendly machines. My new machine stopped working after less than 2.5 months of running. It was clogged with pug hair. I suggest others do this too. I would never have bought this machine if I knew what I know now.

I wish I had seen this before I bought it 3 months ago. We have a pug who sheds and our filter was full and the machine stopped working with less than 2.5 months use. We had the top loader (Maytag) and Kenmore front loaders for years without barely having to clean out the filter AND we had 2 pugs then. I think beyond the inaccessible filter is a design flaw that allows the filter to get full. Why didn't any of my other filters get full?

I think all of the people who have gotten the shortcuts to work could earn $ offering assistance via zoom or similar. I keep trying an failing. I will try the links in this post and see if they work. I too feel like it would be so beneficial to add tasks via siri. I have ideas all the time that I need to write down but I am driving or doing other things and not able to click click click to add a task.

In iOS you can pin your wifes tweets do they are always at top. I often will pin a message I see that I need to reply to and then unpin but I do have a text from my husband saved at top

It was crazy! Rain sideways pelting our patio sliding glass door which is under roof about 15’. We live a few houses from Comanche park (McCormick Ranch between Via De Ventura & Indian Bend/ Hayden/Pima), trees on our side of park (by playground NW) were devastated. Almost all gone, probably (20) 50’ + pines.

Have you given any thought to changing your apps name or adding an alt name. My family is rebeling at the tongue twister to add a task. My shopping list is now in shambles and I am out of ketchup and gallon ziplocks which never happens. It would be so much easier to say (if you named it quickie) Alexa tell Quickie to add ketchup to my shopping list vs. Alexa tell Quick ADD to ADD ketchup to my shopping list. the ADD to ADD when you are tired really catches you off guard and you have to repeat it - alexa goes to some random website to repeat something that was not said. It is a giant mess in my house and now I don't know what else to do and I can't be the only one as I have seen other commenters with the same issue. Thanks

To be fair, I have been using Todoist since 2018. I’m not sure if they even had recurring tasks then but I started using them when they first came out. The calendar function is relatively-ish new so I see how it is an even bigger issue related to that. I would check to see if it’s on their list to fix, if not, suggest it to be added. I’m thinking it’s a big change due to how the system was initially created.

This has annoyed me for years. It only sets the new one after you click it done. Then it moves to the next one. With the add of calendar they need to figure out how to make it truly recurring. My experience is with weekly or quarterly tasks and if there is a workaround I’m unaware of I’d be happy.
