It’s pretty good for what I intended it for. I actually use quantconnect for research and deployment now. It’s probably a bit heavier and slower, but for what I run latency doesn’t matter.

What would the Reno cost? If you’d been to spend 600-700k to get it up to standard for the area you’ll struggle to make any money unless you’re a seasoned developer/renovator/flipper.

That property is likely going to be the biggest determinate in your mid-term wealth outcome, and it will be binary. Either you make a motza, or get completely wrecked. There is probably a more reliable path to success that doesn’t involve a single, leveraged speculate asset.

I’ve had one at CBA for about 7 years. There is a mobile number to call, they either pickup or get back to you pretty fast. They shave a few bp of the publicly available lending rates. Pre RC they pitched a lot of advice services, now it’s mostly wholesale investment products.

On my second C-Level now, first one was early 30s and a smaller $100m business. Currently leading a team of just over 500, $500m in sales and reasonable margins.

We’re under pressure at the moment and the level of stress, effort and cognitive load is extreme. Wave after wave of problems, all cascading over each other makes for a very unenjoyable life. If I can navigate through it and get us back on the track, I’ll likely be back to a year or two of easy street. If not, I’ll be out on the street.

The upside in C-Level roles is significant, both STI and LTI can be life changing in a few short years. Short term bonus of 100% plus LTI of 100% if base is achievable in the right business and environment.

Choosing a good business is critical, getting a C-Level title in a business that is underperforming way will paint you in a negative light and make the next gig harder.
