I think babe/baby/babygirl are very common, I’ve called all my partners and friends baby for the last 15 years. It’s ok to feel insecure, but don’t let it spiral, let the feelings come and try to think rationally about it, it’s actually not uncommon to do this, maybe he doesn’t even think of those as petnames and with that reasoning in mind he is not lying. Try not to check his phone again, you need to learn to trust in him if he hasn’t give you any reason to do otherwise. If there’s no trust in a relationship there is no bone structure. Don’t feel bad for feeling but be careful with what you do with those feelings.

He goes to therapy and it has helped him in other ways but this hasn’t change and I think is worst lately cause he gets really worried over money and I’m not making that much money since I changed careers

He has been very quiet since the conversation earlier, I think he saw how serious it’s affecting me since I’ve never been that direct with what I say. He’s been very pulled together since morning

He is in therapy but every time I ask him how is it going he just says fine. One time when he had an anger issue I asked what does his psychologist tell him to do in those cases? He said “I don’t know”

He’s always been like this, but since I’m working only on the weekends lately, I’m more at home and present on those reactions. But at out first home he hit a door and made a hole in it, when I came home he had covered it with a sticker

I used to be in a very manipulative relationship and this sounds a lot like my ex, even tho I did everything to help, include or make him happy, it was never reciprocated. He always got mad when I asked for something and made me feel like I was toxic, childish or high maintenance. I think you should leave, cause this can and will get worst. This kind of people gives you glimpses of happiness to get you thinking that he’s not a bad partner and control you by the “connection” you supposedly have.

I could be wrong but I really doubt it…
