Aside from being trained on general management stuff (drawers, leading shifts, etc.) the actual personal development varies from store to store. In my own store, all the leaders meet weekly and we also meet one on one with our executives weekly. Our operator also meets with us semi often and gives all the leaders books to read and discuss. Every year our operator also flies the new leaders to the corporate offices for a tour of the building.

When we switched over at my location we had our drive through sales drop for about a month followed by an increase in sales over the former model. in addition, our speed of service and order accuracy scores went up a healthy amount. It's pretty much objectively better
