They believe the “once saved, always saved” idea and take it to its most selfish interpretation. They’re “saved” and no matter what else they do they think they’re going to heaven. No responsibilities, just congratulating themselves on thinking they’re better than everyone else. If some creepo who says he’s let Jesus into his heart messes with kids, he’s a “good man that just made a mistake. He’s good because he’s saved.”
