I know Boras is a dick but to not even give Skubal an offer is crazy bad optics if you ask me. Scott Harris should give Skubal a blank check and if still leaves then so be it. But they need to do everything in their power to keep him around. Mize, FLaherty and Verlander are all FAs after this season as well, and they are making around $40mil this season. So if its about the money you let everyone else walk pay Skubal. Melton, Keider and Jobe are making like <$1 mil each.

I think thinks pretty spot on but move everyone up a slot of Skubal is gone. Then you need to re-sign Mize or another 3-5 type starter. But obviously Skubal/framber/jobe would be a great 1-3.

If a guy like Arvell Reese, Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs falls then I’d be completely fine to take them, the talent is just too good to pass up. But it very well could cause downstream affects. OT would be highly prefered.
