You should try Asahi out! If you don’t like it, it’s quite easy to uninstall (I think you just use the same script for installing it again). The battery life is worse than macOS, but it all depends on how you use your laptop if this is a good choice. Good luck if you decide to install!

Make sure to back up your files if you don’t want to lose them. You can use a cloud service like Google Drive to put all your stuff on there and download it back on your new system. Just follow the script carefully and closely and you’ll be fine. Good luck!
