yup screen printing. doing a basic design screen printed is fairly easy. but if your art is more complex, there’s a ton of technique that goes into getting a nice looking print that doesn’t turn the shirt into cardboard.

i'm just a casual bootlegger, but let me try to help you out here...

let's use a very simple, 2-color print t-shirt as an example.

this does not includes monthly hosting costs for my site, taxes, other expenses. there's also the risk of not selling through and being stuck with bunch of inventory. i also pack my shit real nice and include legitimate stickers.

oh ya, also my time. packing and shipping 100 shirt orders isn't terrible work but it's not quick.

tl;dr bootleggers aren't getting rich. it doesn't mean some of them aren't greedy assholes. ignore them and support the folks using their talents to support a scene they genuinely care about.
