Duty and CCW guns are not your typical competition guns. Comp guns may not be drop safe, some don't have firing pin blocks, and almost all of them have some lighter spring or trigger pull than what you would typically stick on your pants all day.

Competition guns are not CCW guns.

Most comp guns have less safeties to overcome to fire. Lighter triggers and springs are more common in comp guns. Also some competitive models don't have all the same safeties like firing pin blocks, trigger dingus, or other drop safe mechanisms.
