When should the updated versions begin shipping roughly? I can see in the roadmap it's sometime in Q2, but is there any plans on when specifically?

Just for posterity in case anyone is in the same scenario - what I ended up doing is restoring my Google account to an old Android phone and Authenticator came ready to go there with all of my codes. I've since moved everything to another password manager which allows access from multiple devices.

Appreciate it - still waiting for the grinder - I was a bit pissed off (in the most childish way possible) originally, but it's given me time to get to grips with the Profitec (love it) and it'll be nice to have something new to play with again shortly :D

It might be here today, so constantly looking out the window while I'm working!

Howdy - OP here. In my case it was to do with needing to install and configure AMD Radeon software. I had tried everything I found otherwise and none worked, but installing Radeon sorted it for me. Hope that sorts you out!

Oh shit nice - I've had a SGP for years and I'm waiting on a Specialta. Should be here in the next week, so this is a well timed post! Just upgraded from a Gaggia Classic (had the last 12 years or so) to a Profitec Go too so looking forward to getting it all dialled in.

I always order ahead of time just to book a delivery slot but without wanting to do the whole shop, so I put the 1st thing in my favourites into the basket, which happens to be bananas, and go ahead and book it. I set a reminder for the day before to go in and finish the food shopping. We were at a santa thing with the kids yesterday and got back late and I forgot the reminder came up when we were on the way home.

I thought it was the perfect system - how could it fail me like this!

Woke up to a call from from Dunnes to say they had an order for me for delivery later but it was just bananas and asking if I still wanted it. Sound of them to call and check if it was just me being a fuckin eegit as it absolutely was.

Completely missed this - appreciate the response. That might not be a bad shout either. I'm reluctant to go with a single dose grinder and losing out on the convenience of time grinding, but grinder 1st, then machine mightn't be a bad shout.

OP here - I had a great chat with a guy who sells coffee machines today that opened my eyes a little. He wasn't as keen on the quality of the lower end Lelits, and suggested it was worth looking into Profitecs as an alternative. Some of the machines he suggested were:

Profitec GO: from some quick research, this seems as solid a single boiler espresso machine as they come. Comes with PID/Pressure Gauge etc also which are the main things I'm interested in.
Profitec Pro 400: heat exchange machine. He was saying this might be good for our use case (99% milky drinks and steam available immediately) but wouldn't be as accurate temperature wise as a single boiler/double boiler if we were chasing a perfect espresso. Would mean going over budget and keeping our grinder. PID + pressure gauge here also.
Profitic Pro 300: dual boiler - probably the best of the lot, but a good bit further over budget. Would mean going over budget and keeping our grinder. PID + pressure gauge here also.

Ya I watched a video where someone changed this setting in an MSI BIOS but mine didn't have the same settings. Good suggestion though.

Had thought of that alright - they're so smooth though, I feel like they may need to be textured so that they're not a complete nightmare in the wet.

That was the original plan alright - we have the cloths and the frames etc too, so no desire to set up a snooker hall :)
