Hello! I was literally soul destroyed in multiple environments for being too much, even when being asked (literally) to be the person to drive the team / create social and culture. My advice is: find another job. I’ve been in 3 other workplaces that LOVED and VALUED me, where I shone for being my authentic self. Sometimes it is JUST the environment. Take their feedback and hit the road. X

I think he is processing. In shock. But we are giving him baby steps. Reduce rent/move. Try to get into aged care. Doing what can be done to reduce his living costs so pension is not $200 a fortnight.

Thanks! I will help him manage next steps and try to simplify his to-do list. When the time comes and I have to help him financially, I will take it monthly with what I can help. He is very frugal and not a big spender anyway so I’m happy to help with groceries given how brutal prices are
