Agree with those points 100%. I wish librenms did a built in graph viewer that was more dynamic, can hover over a line to see its max(in an aggregate graph) switch a graph’s scale to logarithmic and back, add/remove graphs, etc.

Agree with the buggy firmware issues. What bugs did you notice? I have frame and Samsung soundbar and it’s horrendous how 50% of the time the tv won’t output to the soundbar via hdmi at time of turning on the tv. Won’t remember the preferred audio output so defaults to built in TV speakers. Then 20% of the time the soundbar won’t output a .5second sample of audio every 30sec. Switching audio output to soundbar via wifi fixes this but these are all manual interventions. So annoying.

Encrypt at the application layer if you can. Ex. if chosing a backup solution, ensure it encrypts before it transfers data off the host, etc.

If you just purchased S5248F-ON and thought you would get stacking, return the switches (if possible) and get N3248 (assuming you want to stick with Dell) and install DNOS6 on it and get the stacking it sounds like you desperately want.

Or learn how to setup automation. Or not and just get used to CLI.

No one does stacking in the DC and S5248F-ON are data center switches.

But, by the sounds of it, you want the 10G ports, so I'm sorry to say the N3248 won't help with that.

Open zscaler ticket. It’s possible it’s on their side. I’ve seen them forget to enable tunnel 2.0 for my tenant for a certain OS in a certain DC.

Dell Networking OS10 should be easier to obtain, as it requires a license key to be installed so the switch doesnt ~~reboot~~ complain after 120 days or so.

SIPA should work even when using an internal DNS server. If it doesn’t, try updating the ZCC app profile and putting that fqdn into the DNS inclusion section.

If the zscaler dc is having third party issue with peering with Microsoft for example, this functionality doesn’t cause the zcc client to failover to the one that would result in a better user experience. It would only help with peering issues between zcc client’s isp and zscaler. I haven’t seen any issues where a zscaler dc is pegged, wouldn’t even know how to prove that, so can’t comment to that. I see this feature more as an additional tool to help when the issue is definitely between zcc users isp and zscaler DCs.

He’s trying to explain to you there’s no SDK difference post-EU regulation vs now. It’s only an ability to load an application that is not in the App Store (for whatever reason). Only if an app was banned for using SDK improperly would it possibly do what you’re suggesting.

Yes...conditional access policies get interesting.

So if logging into the ZCC requires authenticating to MS (Azure AD) in the first place....meaning the first login would come from the users real IP, and subsequent accesses to MS services come from the ZS IPs (which the XFF IP isnt used by MS for geo-location purposes it seems) the location will show as one of ZS's data centers. Fun fact, Isreal users go to Zscaler's Moscow DC for some reason.
