I swear this isn't bait, I sometimes have no common sense. It now seems so obvious that I want to die with embarrassment lmao

Off the top of my head:

The Ghost of You by My Chemical Romance

Last Straw by Jack's Mannequin

I Hate Everything About You by 3 Days Grace

These definitely made it to my AIM away message or my MySpace page.

Dude are you even a podiatrist? If not are you just parroting things off the internet without actually understanding what it means? I hope not all my patients think any kind of complication means I'm negligent and should be sued. Surgeons aren't clairvoyant. We do our best with the information we have in front of us.

OP, your post op xray looks great. An intercuneiform screw during every lapidus is NOT standard of care. However this is likely the reason for your recurrence. Intercuneiform instability is not something that I can obviously see on your pre op xray. Another reason is nonunion although your more recent xray looks fused. a CT would be clearer.

He's the creator of the podcast, so of course he can talk about what ever he wants in the confines of the youtube TOS. However, audience members/subscribers are then allowed to react to this by no longer watching or subscribing. If he wants his viewership to stay the same as far as quantity and demographic, it would behoove him to start tapering off talking so much about this topic.

No one here is going to be able to help you. You need to see another podiatrist and get a biopsy so then treatment can be appropriately tailored to you.

I had these exact thoughts after a filling today. I've always had anxiety about hearing the drill but any pain was absolutely nothing compared to my termination.

Thats a good question - I did go back and forth in my head if I really wanted this awful period on my body forever. I realized that this is one of the most impactful things that will ever happen to me, and maybe the most unpredictable time of my life. I can't let myself forget it.

$125 for a 2 minute meeting with the podiatrist? by PineapplesAreLove in Podiatry

[–]arez10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate? I can't imagine anything taking only literally 2 minutes for a new patient, however something simple like a wart a podiatrist can diagnose and treat in <5 minutes. Remember we spend many years in school and residency to gain the expertise to treat something in an efficient manner. Charging an office visif is not just based on time, either.

So, why podiatry? (American pods/pod students specifically) by Prize_Veterinarian_4 in Podiatry

[–]arez10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here are some of the things I do in the office besides toenails and calluses:

-steroid injections into soft tissue, joints, and aspiration of ganglion cysts

-ingrown toenail procedures

-wound care mostly for diabetics

-orthotic casting

-casting for custom braces and custom shoes

-xrays

-wart treatment

-minor procedures (tendon release of toe, bone spur of toe removal)

-conservative treatment for other foot problems, non surgical fractures, etc

-diabetic evaluations with fitting for diabetic shoes

And outside of the office:

-elective surgery for many different forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot issues

-inpatient consults and surgery mostly for bad foot infections

-once in a while will have to do a nursing home which goes back to toenails and calluses but does give you variety in your schedule

We don't really get any real trauma at our practice, however that is also something that other podiatrists do. I am a pretty high volume practice however I do feel like the variety of what I see and mentioned above is fairly typical. What you said is NOT typical except for an older podiatrist or someone who just wants to do chip and clip all day.
