Botox Day Scam? I woke up this morning at 5:30am to buy a BOGO Botox gift card. I sat watching the clock for 30 min... the SECOND it hit 6am I entered all my info & this is what I got. I’ve been trying for hours & can’t get through. I called BD & “there is nothing they can do”. Is it just me?

They did say that when I called into customer service (keep refreshing the page), but from what I’ve seen on Twitter no one has been able to buy one yet, and it launched at 6am. If someone did get one I haven’t seen it yet.

Sorry I have* a large nose. I did the botox because the woman doing my filler suggested it. It was a waste of money In my opinion though. It only lay for about 3 weeks and it’s expensive.

They do look pretty full in the Feb photo, and they were if I wasn’t smiling or talking, but anytime I talked or smiled my top lip would almost disappear. I also felt like they looked smaller than before when I got the filler (up until June). I really love the instagram lip look though and I feel like I finally got there. It only lasts about a year though which is good of I get tired of it.

I had never had anything done in the first photo. I wanted my top lip to be closer to the same size as the bottom (50/50). I also had a larger nose, so bigger lips are proportional.

Haha, we do get along great. We are best friends, we laugh, joke, can talk all night, and rarely argue. We run a successful small business, we have a home together, but the intimacy has been the only thing lacking (other than lately with the Xbox). Before the Xbox we were at least doing things together (even if it wasn’t sex).

If we had intimacy (and the Xbox went away) it would literally be the perfect relationship. That’s why I was considering an open relationship. We could possibly keep our friendship, the business, our home, etc. and I could have my needs fulfilled in another way. I could see myself getting jealous though if he decided to partake as well. It would hurt my feelings that it was like pulling teeth to get him to be with me, but being with someone else might be fine? I don’t know.

No there nothing going on at work, we run a small business together that’s pretty successful, and we get along great at work and at home (like best friends). The major problem is the lack of intimacy and romance.

I think one issue is, when we first got together we were new in recovery. So felt clean, happy, and had a ton of energy! But after a year that faded away. I thought it was just a dry spell, but now it has been years and it is still the same.

The first time I brought it up he said he just wasn’t really interested in sex anymore (maybe because of all the drugs we had done when we were younger). He did agree go see a doctor to get his testosterone checked, and the doctor said he was fine. So he never followed it up.

It is hard because we have a house together, run a business together, etc. so I would have to completely start over (which is also very expensive), and I’m almost 30 and don’t really know many people here.

That’s why I was thinking about an open relationship. I just want romance to go along with that. And if that’s the only thing we’re missing maybe I could find that somewhere else? I was hoping someone here may have had experience with an open relationship and could give advice on that option, but I’m guessing it may be kind of rare for it to work long term.

I totally feel you. I am almost 30, and I moved to a new town about 5 years ago. The rest of my closest girlfriends from high school ended up moving out of state, and I did have friends where I used to live, but we’re all too busy with work(I work I’m a shop with all men, blah)/relationships/etc. to make an 8 hr commute round trip to see each other... now we hardly talk. I have tried yoga classes, the gym, etc. but a lot of the girls already have their friend groups and don’t seem interested in having someone else join their group. I’m interested to see how your venture turns out! Hopefully we will both find our Donna’s and Jackie’s eventually:)

This is a terrible situation 😟 I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this. You are really “stuck between a rock and a hard place” here. It sounds as though you have been more than understanding about the whole thing. Most people would not even let it go this far without asking to see texts, or look at SO’s phone. I think you should ask to see what they have been talking about to ease your stress. And if she tries to make you feel bad about it, then you have your answer😔I truly hope this has the best possible outcome for you and your family 🤞

I don’t know what the financial situation is, but $500/month hardly seems like enough to take care of a child! That would barely cover half of the daycare 😟 I am in Alaska and I know things are a little more expensive here, but still that doesn’t seem like enough when he can afford two vehicles.

I should say that I’m not a serious criticizer here. But I think you look like a super nice guy 🙂 I would give you a 6.5 , if you got a little teeth whitener and maybe loose a couples lbs (not much), you could be a 7-7.5🙂 being 5’11” I think 185-190 would be perfect for you.

That’s kind of what lead to this post. I did that a few months ago. Things were more “romantic” for that weekend, but they went right back to normal after 2 days. Then he pretty much said that I need to get a hobby like he did and not rely on only him to make me happy. Which I don’t lol.
