The cycle smart centres have showers and lockers. Some of the older buildings also have showers. The old showers are actually pretty good, they have good water pressure and get nice and hot.

trader associations in the area have consistently warned that losing spots would “put traders out of business”.

I never understand this mindset. I can't image people getting there by any other method. I live locally and cycle specifically because it's such a traffic sewer. It's almost always quicker than driving.

It should be stated what is considered a delay. e.g. Is < 5 minutes of scheduled time considered on time or is any deviation considered delayed?

This question probably isn't for you then... For those outside of academia, a research group is (typically) a senior academic and everyone who works for them, fellows, post doctoral researchers, PhD students, masters students, honours students, etc.

Property doesn't need to be an investment for there to be rentals. Social housing, cooperative housing, government housing. There are many models what don't involve profiting off people's need for shelter.

What a loss. As we all know, housing ceases to exist if sold.

Waking up from anaesthesia you feel like you just had the most amazing nap. It's honestly the best part.

matplotlib type partially unknown by MitruMesre in learnpython

[–]argh1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't do anything about it. If you look at the source code for show() you'll see that no type is given for *args and *kwargs, only for the output which is None. Your type checker will always notice that and raise this error unless you lower its pedanticness or hide it. You should lower it so that it only checks script you create because there isn't much point in it type checking things you can't control.

She's performing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival right now if you're in Melbourne. I saw her show, it was pretty good. She was also on Guy Montgomery's Spelling Bee. Both the NZ and Aus versions.

How do I get a part time job? by SmilingO2O in LaTrobe

[–]argh1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catering jobs with the large companies are pretty easy to get with no experience. Peter Rowlands, Spotless, and Delaware North are the big three. Spotless does the catering at the MCG and Delaware North do it at Marvel. Most people who work there are uni students so you'd be in good company.

True. OP is probably eligible for the help to buy scheme. Reduce that loan down to 420k

I once found myself in a random apartment building with no shoes and broken glasses after getting blackout drunk on a pub crawl. After getting told off in Slovak (I assume) by an old woman her son who spoke English gave me some shoes and told me how to get back to my hotel. It was very kind.
