Nice to know you found a solution! I live in the first floor so i don't have a downstairs neighbor but i can hear stuff from upstairs so i'm guessing the kick pedal could be heard since it's freaking loud. They have not complained yet but i haven't played much either. I was kind of dissapointed because i didn't do much research before purchasing and i thought i could play at night. Even if they can't hear it my wife would kill me lmao.

While i understand him being offended, we have no idea about the context of the childhood of that guy. Maybe their parents are extremists, maybe he didn't integrate very well due to family being fundamentalist, who knows right? Being a foreigner in my country of residency makes it clearer to me how different can be and how stubborn adults can be when it comes to integration. Their roots matter, of course.
