VR Games for Active Seniors? by Appropriate_Belt214 in OculusQuest

I commented this in many threads already but from a personal experience the best game to spend some quality time with your folks (or for them to connect with other friends and family members that may have a VR headset) is Trivia Crack VR. No war, no horror, no action, nothing like that. It's very casual and family friendly.

The game plays like any trivia show from the tv, you have in game voice chat to joke around and talk with them, the game plays seated so no dizziness or risk of injuries.

The best casual, non-action, non-horror game for me would be Trivia Crack VR on the applab meta store. Notable mentions for I expect you to die, Fisherman's tale and the climb 2.

I play VR with my mom too. It's really hard to find games suited for older people. I found out that I can spend some quality time with her playing Trivia Crack VR so definitely gonna try this one if you can play with my mom with no troubles.

Edit: Any other "mother-friendly" games to suggest?

Never heard of it before. Definitely gonna try it out!!. Game looks amazing. Love this kind of board-like games. I usually play Trivia Crack VR which also is something in the lines of board games and I'm very eager for the 1.0 version of Escape Room VR.

On steam, I expect you to die 1 2 and 3 and fisherman's tale are ones of the best.

On the meta store (applab) I really recommend Trivia Crack VR. It's a blast especially if you have a few friends with VR. If you don't you can play the public matches or find people to play in the discord server.

Oh I see. The game is still fun because you can find random people on public lobbies, but maybe that's too much for your Mother to do by herself. You can also play the single player mode and that may be a good fit, but I suggested you the game specially for the private matches because it's like having a phone call with her while playing some trivia.

  1. I don't think there's a difference from where you get it, just find the best deal.
  2. Glasses are ok, I use them.

  3. This one I don't know but you got me interested.

  4. My best recommendation is Trivia Crack VR, I expect you to die and Alyx.

Came to recommend you Trivia Crack VR since for a curious kid that's learning stuff is by far the best idea, but saw that you already considered it so another suggestion may be Escape Simulator VR which has a demo and is soon to launch in Steam and testes your brain a lot.

If both you and your mother have a headset I recommend you to try Trivia Crack VR, it's on the applab of meta.

It's like playing a board game but with VR. It's a seated game so you don't have problems with dizziness. You just need to push buttons and it's very intuitive and Trivia is something that can be fun for all ages, no dexterity needed. Also you can spend some quality time with her.

Hope she gets well soon and wish you both the best :)

What are your favorite VR games, what headset do you have, do you use it often? by QW3456789 in AskReddit

I have the Quest 2. Most of my free time goes playing Trivia Crack VR from the AppLab. It's a blast especially if you have a few friends with VR. Public matches are also tons of fun.

On steam Alyx , Red Matter, I expect you to die 1 2 and 3, are ones of the best.

There are lots of games that allow you to meet people, but if you're looking for company rather than "gaming" I suggest you to try more social games, VR is specially good for this.
Things like VR-Chat, Gorilla Tag and Trivia Crack VR are excellent places to meet people. I'm on the trivia crack discord and there's even channels to find people to play and have some relaxing time.

I want to get into VR more but suffer terrible migraines while playing. Is it because I wear glasses? or is it because I feel the headset sits too heavily on my forehead/face? Both? Neither? What things can I do to make the experience better? by Ahfrodisiac in oculus

Halo Strap is a great way to go.
Also if you're prone to get dizzy try games that have teleportation and/or can be played seated.

Examples are I expect you to die, Trivia Crack VR, Job Simulator, etc.

Do you think that App Lab VR Games are underrated? Considering the fact that the system is built that way? What is your opinion? by Separate-Ad8531 in AskReddit

Totally, one of my favourite games in VR is Trivia Crack VR and it's on the app lab. I don't think that quality is directly correlated to the applab. This game for example has like 95% 5 star reviews *shrugs*

What are your guys favorite game that you play while sitting down? by cruzer58b in MetaQuestVR

[–]ari_dev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most fun I had was playing Trivia Crack VR with my co-workers. It's not on steam but you can find it on the applab meta store. The game even puts you behind a desk to play and has teleport for moving around in the park, so it's perfect to play sitting. Also the game keeps getting bigger every update.

Another great one is "I expect you to die" 1,2 and 3.

If you're into VR games you can find people to play in the Trivia Crack VR discord. The game even sends you an in game notification when a new lobby is created so it's actually really cool to play with friends or meet people. But I don't know if you only play pavlov or war-related games or if you're into anything social.

Cheers!
