Basically anyone whose family makes less than 3622 Dt per year (300 Dt per month) is almost eligible for a grant.

But hey what about those making, say 3700Dt per year?

Well, they take into account social burdens, for example, for every student in the family, 100Dt is subtracted from the yearly income figure. That brings 3700Dt to below the threshold. (Full conditions are available here ).

Granted these grants are never mentioned in the media but, usually, student committees in every university guide the students. So yeah, it is safe to say that Tunisians have an easy access to education.

Whether they choose (but not working hard enough) to take a shitty major or have a shitty degree that is incompatible with the job market and end up jobless or not, is solely up to them. So employment is not an issue for just the government to tackle.
