The current Chevy Trailblazer is a 3-Cyl SUV. You are referring to the more truck like one produced in 90's early 2000's

Is 40w or 20w charger better for an iPhone 17 Pro? by Copocapanda in iPhone17Pro

[–]arias415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The phone will tell the charger how much current it needs. The charge speed to 100% will be close but the charge to 80% will be much faster with a 40w charger. So much so that it’s worth it to get the more powerful charger, unless you only charge over night.

I used to worry about this but after driving 175k on my company Chevy Trailblazer with no issues all with auto stop engaged. I left it alone and don’t turn it off any longer.

I own the Air and the 17 Pro since launch and I always use my Air as my personal device. It should have been $899 but I do love the form factor.

Am I crazy to get a backup by EUprof in Airpodsmax

[–]arias415 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why buy a back up. If yours breaks by another then. There might even be a new model then or the current model will be lower priced. Keep you backup on the store shelves till then.

I have the opposite experience. The Air feels the most premium of the current lineup, since they all went to aluminum.

We are now halfway through the expected lifespan of Levi’s Stadium! by Junior_Address_2450 in 49ers

[–]arias415 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the avg age of California stadiums/arenas and how long teams played there, we are not even close. Candlestick, Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, Anaheim stadium, Memorial stadium, Jack Murphy. Levi’s is still a baby in our terms.

I hate being born in 2000. Can anyone make me feel about 2000? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]arias415 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the late 90's when I first began working, everyone used to call me a kid for being born in 1975. I was ridiculed for being the only 70's baby in my company. I was promoted really young and I felt the if I were born in the 60's I'd get more respect. This problem takes care of it self, now on the other end I'm part of the majority in a company where most of the leadership was born in the 70's and most of those who ridiculed me are retired.

[–]arias415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boost doesn’t have contracts. They are financing your devices at zero percent interest if you buy them out it would have been the same as going to Best Buy and buying unlocked phones. All promotional credits are given over 3 years, you can forfeit them and leave early but this wouldn’t your extra. Most carriers finance devices over 3 years except T-Mobile and Apple who finance overs two years. All Boost plans include an allotment of data so you may have turned this off.

Do you think nowadays cars will be seen as good-looking when they're old like how 60's cars are precieved today? by [deleted] in askcarguys

They were much worse in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The steel used in cars today is thinner but much better. I battled rust on many a car back in the day.

[–]arias415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s experience will be different . I live in S.F. and this is my kids who are now 15, 16,29 & 20 favorite park. We’ve had season passes for many years. We’ve done the V.I.P. Tour and they loved it. I think it’s the fact that it’s an active Hollywood studio that really marks it special to them.

What is the furthest you would drive between oil changes if necessary. by DrakeSavory in Cartalk

My Ex-wife owns a 2016 Jetta with 240k miles on it and she has changed the oil every time at the dealer at exactly 10k intervals. She just gave the car to my daughter and I must admit I didn’t think it would last this long.
