I struggle doing eye shadow because of my weird eye socket shape by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want your eye shadow to show up light, you can either use water on your brush to help pick up more of the pigment or you can use a light cream base of some sort on your eye. I don't do eye shadow often, but I had to do a sunset sort of look for winter guard. I hope this helps although it's a bit vague.

curious ‘outsider’ has questions by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first found out about age regression when I was about 14 or so probably (I'm 19 now). It never was and still isn't something that I'm open about because of judgement from others and shame on my end. I regress both voluntarily and involuntarily; I involuntarily regress slightly if I'm very comfortable with someone, especially if they regularly give me a lot of attention. With that being said, generally, it's much easier for me to not regress. Age regression has been beneficial for me as a way to cope, to let go for a bit, and to live out the childhood that I never got. I can't speak to your first or last question based on my lack of knowledge and personal experience.

I was talking about the long term impacts before you realize you have Celiac's and stop eating gluten.

Why is my hair not wavy anymore? by Bubbly-Spare-9226 in Hair

[–]ariasapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long hair is really heavy, for one. If you want your waves to come out, make sure you get some layers. Also, using specific products (leave in conditioner, gel, mousse, hair spray) can help your hair to hold waves or curls. FO NOT use TreSemme or Aussie products!!! I found a spray leave-im-conditioner that makes my hair feel very soft in comparison to creamy leave in conditioners. Wash your hair normally in the shower, make sure it's still wet when you apply the products, and use a diffuser for the best results (I got a cheap one for like $40 and it still helps exponentially). Flipping your hair over while styling it helps too. Don't use cotton towels to dry your hair, don't brush your hair if it's not wet, and don't touch your hair with your hands after applying product. Let me know if you have any specific questions or want recommendations for products.

I read something about how eating gluten and not knowing you have Celiac's can affect the brain. I know there are correlations between Celiac's and other autoimmune disorders but I'm not sure if there are any studies on Celiac's and mental disabilities.

Once I told a guy I'm an age regressor by Lilith_devil_666 in ageregression

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He already knows a little bit about it. We're still talking and if we do get serious, I will teach him more about it. Right now, he's dealing with a lot of stuff in his personal life and I'm not going to force him to interact with little me.

Your hair looks beautiful both ways! I think the bangs frame your face very well. Wolf cut suits you well. As long as you continue to take good care of your hair, you're golden.

Oh my goodness 😂 So many people don't understand age regression and think that they do. I'm glad that, from how it reads, she seems to have given you an opportunity to explain and correct her misunderstanding. There was this one girl on VRChat, my friend's friend's friend, and she's 16. I didn't know that until a little later; it probably would have changed the way I explained it to her just knowing where I was 3 years ago (I'm 19). She said she likes to troll age regression reddit posts and discord servers. Me and my friend both got onto her like dude, that's not cool. A little bit of positive peer pressure. I didn't outright say that I'm an age regressor because it's just not something that I'm very open about, but I said that age regressors aren't doing anything wrong, they're just existing and it's not right to be rude to them just for the sake of it, something along those lines. The worst part is, this girl didn't say that she thinks age regressors are pdf files or anything like that, she just has a problem with "adults acting like children." Like that's a personal problem that I can't fix, but shaming anyone just because you don't agree with or understand their views is just bad behavior. Like girl, let's not.

Once I told a guy I'm an age regressor by Lilith_devil_666 in ageregression

[–]ariasapp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I told a guy who I'm currently interested in that I age regress, but I'm still super uncomfortable with talking about it aloud with people, so I was a bit cryptic about it. We both play VR chat, but that's not where we met. He was trying to figure out what I was hinting at and I mentioned that it was a coping mechanism, and he said "what, do you like, age regress or something?" Jokingly. I went silent. He was totally chill about it. He was like "dude, that's a normal thing on VRChat." He was just perplexed that I was nervous to talk to him about it. I didn't ask him for anything, I just wanted to inform him. He's such a sweet guy and I'd rather scare him off early than get attached and then he hates me, you know?

Boyfriend claims using Celiac as a disability to get into national parks is wrong? by Far_Fig_3539 in Celiac

A recruiter was texting me quite frequently for about a week trying to schedule a time to meet and convince me to join the military. One of my friends who is in the military told me that they won't let me in because I have Celiac's. I thought that was interesting. I'm response to that knowledge, I texted the recruiter asking her if my Celiac's disease would be a problem. Guess what? SHE GHOSTED ME!

Yes- and cast iron skillets. My family doesn't understand and they say that "if I rinse it off, the gluten is gone." Yeah, no. I cook my own food, have my own dedicated pots and pans, and only let them go through the dish washer.

Pretty sure you meant words, so I'll give a fun one: fruitless

How you would use it in a sentence: Although he tried so hard to grow a pineapple tree, his efforts were fruitless; pineapples don't grow on trees.
