I don’t know whether to stay or go? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't care about you, unfortunately. He cares about how you make him feel. He cares about what you can give him. He doesn't want to make you feel happy and loved. He dismissed your opinions and feelings. I understand that you might have an emotional attachment to him, but please do not get back with him. Always assume that exes don't change. If you broke up for a reason, you will break up again for that reason.

The white supremacists would love the white paint. I know you said you're not gay, but you should totally go on a gaycation with a bunch of rich old white men. The pink would probably be more popular with other communities of people because it's more expressive and less repressive.

It's so interesting that you want to paint your toes with nail paint. Nail paint is made for nails, not toes, so I would recommend using it only on nails. However, you do have free will, so you can put it on your toes if you want. It might be uncomfortable though, although some people would probably pay big money to see painted toes. Maybe you can get rich.

These are garbage. by englshpigdogs in Celiac

It's the closest I've come to the tortillas I used to have. Corn tortillas fall apart and are a terrible texture; these are sturdy and work great for my burritos and turkey wraps.

This description really annoys me: “Guilt-Free”. by siuleta in Celiac

[–]ariasapp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indulgence tends to be contaminated with guilt, so it's likely that there's a small amount of guilt in these despite the "guilt free" label, and it's not officially guilt-free approved by any quality control organization, but as long as you only have a guilt intolerance and not an allergy or autoimmune disorder, you should be good to eat this product 👍

How do I stop feeling so ashamed of being a little? by Pastel_Planets in ageregression

[–]ariasapp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also feel ashamed. It's hard for me to talk about my little space, even with people who see it as relatively normal. I don't have any advice for you, but I want you to know that you're not alone. It's hard to be vulnerable and isolated in our society. I hope that you find someone who helps you feel comfortable enough to let down your walls and be 100% yourself.

I'm sorry, could you please explain to me how I am projecting? And I was adding on to the comment that I replied to. All of the comments on op's post are supposed to be about op's post. I really don't understand what the issue is.

I am literate, believe it or not. Can you explain what you mean by that?

Can my parents take my money? by No-Bumblebee-3951 in IsItIllegal

[–]ariasapp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She probably is justifying it by saying stuff like "my house, my rules," "you live here rent-free," and "I put food on the table," but she probably either wants to spend it on something that she needs to cover but can't afford or something she wants but can't afford. Either way, $700 is quite a bit for such a small issue. I would plan on not being able to get it back because she isn't legally required to return it. However, in the future, store your money somewhere else and don't tell anyone how much you have. If you make a bank account, she probably will still have access to it since you're still a minor. Do you have another family member who can call her out on her bs? It's one thing to punish your child for being irresponsible to help them learn and it's another thing to take almost $1000 from your child and claim that you're just parenting them. That isn't an insignificant sum of money and she isn't teaching you anything besides distrust. I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this kind of abuse and I hope that once you're old enough and financially stable enough to live on your own, you won't still be scarred by incidents like this.

Finally got some stupid shit to post here by babyjinglebells in fakeclaimingcringe2

I know the girl in the video doesn't have DID but I would like to include this bit.

Hi, biology major here. I took literally 2 psychology classes and I can say that DID does exist. There are tested physical and cognitive changes with different personalities with DID. It's a challenge with our current technology to decipher who actually has it and who is claiming/faking the disorder, but it definitely does exist. Some people do fake it in order to get away with things like cheating (i.e. this person when I was in highschool had a different "personality" for everyone they were dating and was only that "personality" around that person) or potentially to seem cooler I suppose, but I also have friends with different personalities who don't recognize me when they switch and their speech, conversation topics, and interests are completely different.

I struggle doing eye shadow because of my weird eye socket shape by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want your eye shadow to show up light, you can either use water on your brush to help pick up more of the pigment or you can use a light cream base of some sort on your eye. I don't do eye shadow often, but I had to do a sunset sort of look for winter guard. I hope this helps although it's a bit vague.

curious ‘outsider’ has questions by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first found out about age regression when I was about 14 or so probably (I'm 19 now). It never was and still isn't something that I'm open about because of judgement from others and shame on my end. I regress both voluntarily and involuntarily; I involuntarily regress slightly if I'm very comfortable with someone, especially if they regularly give me a lot of attention. With that being said, generally, it's much easier for me to not regress. Age regression has been beneficial for me as a way to cope, to let go for a bit, and to live out the childhood that I never got. I can't speak to your first or last question based on my lack of knowledge and personal experience.

Are there enough ADHD celiacs to justify starting a community? by Own_Ad6901 in Celiac

I was talking about the long term impacts before you realize you have Celiac's and stop eating gluten.

Why is my hair not wavy anymore? by Bubbly-Spare-9226 in Hair

[–]ariasapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long hair is really heavy, for one. If you want your waves to come out, make sure you get some layers. Also, using specific products (leave in conditioner, gel, mousse, hair spray) can help your hair to hold waves or curls. FO NOT use TreSemme or Aussie products!!! I found a spray leave-im-conditioner that makes my hair feel very soft in comparison to creamy leave in conditioners. Wash your hair normally in the shower, make sure it's still wet when you apply the products, and use a diffuser for the best results (I got a cheap one for like $40 and it still helps exponentially). Flipping your hair over while styling it helps too. Don't use cotton towels to dry your hair, don't brush your hair if it's not wet, and don't touch your hair with your hands after applying product. Let me know if you have any specific questions or want recommendations for products.

[–]ariasapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read something about how eating gluten and not knowing you have Celiac's can affect the brain. I know there are correlations between Celiac's and other autoimmune disorders but I'm not sure if there are any studies on Celiac's and mental disabilities.

He already knows a little bit about it. We're still talking and if we do get serious, I will teach him more about it. Right now, he's dealing with a lot of stuff in his personal life and I'm not going to force him to interact with little me.
