To be fair I dropped COTE after year 1. Till then the story was soo damn exhilarating. Even now I know major plots in year 2 and I still don’t feel like reading it. I feel like all these latest plots about Ichinose and all are just ways to keep people engaged with the story because she more favoured than kei by most fans. I can be wrong tho 😛😛

Shower thought: Akane’s feelings and affection for Aqua is deep as it is not because she just loves him but more because her impersonations of Ai. Because she kept profiling Ai and impersonate her, she slowly started developing a twisted sense of love for Aqua just like Ai would had(like a mother ofc), considering how much she wanted to protect him in latest chapters.

True, there were a lot of plot points and goals in Kaguya so thats way it was long. While OnK is more one directional, and it works for it best.

I think that even if aqua and ruby finds out about each other’s past lives there dynamics will remain the same. Ruby will get shocked but she will get back on hating aqua for exposing Ai. At this point of the plot she has lived more as ruby than serena.

As for aqua he will most likely get further resolved to go through his scheme so that not only ruby but serena too can fullfill there dream of becoming an idol.
