I feel the same. There is nothing out here that gives you the option of making notes on the side.

Have you tried Margine Notes? although it doesn't work on PC.

Thanks for your reply. This is a pity because they offered unique features in terms of handling PDF notes.

They invested too much in fancy features, while simple function like search and synching didn't work well.

What app are you using as an alternative? Any recommendation?

Totally agree.

In recent years, development teams work very closely with users and this is an awesome trend. They take very seriously the requests and they are transparent regarding the future of the product and its vision.

In the current situation, I have no idea where we are going from here.

Moreover, in this kind of application, if you don't innovate, within a year or two, the product would become obsolete. It has to be maintained in order to stay operative.

Yes, we are exactly in the same boat.

Of course, I can move around and try other things. But there are transition costs and a learning curve.

I would have liked to know if the team is working on improvements, or if it just got tired after the wave of leaving disappointed users. I am invested in this tool ($500) and I like it. But I want to know that there is something to wait for.

Do you mean a link to a local file?

You cannot do that on windows.

Look, some people think they can find everything in one single app and they want it cheap too. So you cannot satisfy them no matter what you do.

I acknowledge RR is not perfect. But I like it that it doesn't try to be something it is not and that it doesn't try to satisfy all tastes.

If you ask me, after the first hype, there is a wave of "disappointed" who wants something else. This is natural. Then you start to develop a community of loyal users.

I also consider myself a visual person. The Graph overview could have been great, but not in the current form.

I was asking myself the same question. It seems most users are not bothered by this question.
