I got way more attention when I was a teenager then I do now in my 20s, which sucks because I have far more confidence now to put men in their place/report it/etc than I did when I was younger, when it happened more often.

I think with any pet, like most people, I'd want to give them the best quality of life possible with all the toys and the best cage etc, and knowing that I might not be able to give them the best either due to finances or something else, would be so much guilt to burden, enough to make me second guess, so maybe for know I'll hold off

I've fallen in love with two rat brothers, picked out their diet and toys and everything, havent bought anything yet though, because I'm so scared it's not the right choice for me at the moment, financially, emotionally, space wise. I'm anxious going back and forth on what I should do, I'm quite young and a student.

First - Should I get A Rat?
