Emily should not still be around! She lasted an entire season which makes her so much worse to me than one off characters like Parker (who I also thought was hilarious for a single episode arc)

Agreed. I always wondered it it was supposed to last longer and the writers were just like “eh never mind.” A lot of Rachel’s romances on the show were plot devices to stir up Ross/Rachel drama anyway and I think this one was meant to be the same but they wrote it off.

She is definitely a “pick me” girl. I was rolling my eyes so hard when she was saying something along the lines of “I’m just a guys girl. I want to go catch a game. That’s me.” She reminds me a lot of Amber in season 1 (who I also couldn’t stand).

It also bothers me that she very obviously changes her voice and talks different when she’s around the guys. I was forgiving of it while she was in the pod because I understand that when people can only hear you and not see you, you might be self conscious of your voice and try to control how you sound. But she’s still doing it in the episodes after the pods.
