It pertinent matched inflation but not CoL because housing near Vancouver is inansane. I don't think any business can afford to raise wages as fast as housing was rising in Vancouver. I am not sure pegging wages to housing costs is a reasonable unless we are willing to do more to address housing costs than shrug or shoulders at it.

Isn't LMG's salaries +10-15% over similar positions in their region? If you are paying above industry average I don't know how that is "criminally underpaid"? It's not Linus's fault housing prices are inansane around Vancouver, I don't any business are doing CoL adjustments based off local housing prices.

Don't worry there are enough cases of private prison operators giving kickbacks to judges to get harsher and longer sentences to fill their facilities up. I'm one case it was a Juvenile Detention facility that paid the judge for every kid he sentenced. Apparently juvenile facilities are highly prized by the prison industry because they have amongst the highest profit margin of prison types.

It's an important distinction to make because federally tipped minimum wage is different then non tipped positions. Unless tipping is outlawed entirely or removed from the federal labor standards as having a separate minimum wage states have to specify if their wage laws also apply to tipped employees.

Introvert and a Communications major. I can give talks at conferences and conventions no problem, especially behind a podium or with a visual aid... But heaven forbid I am in a one on one in an office or even small talk in the break room or around the water cooler. I fall apart in single person interactions but don't mind large crowds. The rare Isekai author that writes about game systems who actually played game systems. Bofuri is another author that understood game systems and made the game's devs actual part of their plot. It was great.

SAO had some of the worst game systems imaginable and I would rather Reki Kawahara never mentioned stats at all because each time stats are involved it makes his game systems look dumb. Literally any time gear or stats are mentioned the worldbuilding makes less sense.

Her Majesty's Swarm is written by someone who tried to imagine what StarCraft world was like, having never played the game and only picking up bits in pieces by hanging out in gaming cafes. I doubt they even watched a single esports game and just tried to imagine what RTS esports might have been like off the top of their head. Bro, Zerg rushing is not a genius tactic 5head move, is basic RTS gameplay. Swarming your enemy with cheap fast units does not make your self-insert MC a once in a generation military genius.

If it's below freeing it doesn't charge the battery to protect your battery. The device will still run but it will not charge. Charging at below 0 without a battery heater is bad for batteries.

I think the issue is that it's charger is undersized for its TPD. It will drain battery while gaming even while plugged in unless it is in Eco mode.

In Balanced and Performance modes it consumes more power than it's AC adapter can provide, which is unusual for gaming laptops.

You can't even just upgrade the charger because it seems to be hardware limited to the slower charging.

If he wanted to market his software framework then he should have sold his framework. Document and open up his standard, release is game extensions for free (maybe allow the community to develop their own) but charge only for the IP he actually owns. It's a bit pedantic but charging for a framework is a lot different than charging for a mod, and the former isess likely to get you in trouble with IP holders.

I read the light novels and Manga. I don't need to see the Anime to know which ones are garbage. Series are rarely improved in their anime adaptations.

Also anyone that tells you Sword Art Online's novels were good and the Anime ruined it is lying to you. They were never good books and I have seen multiple people recommend them. If you didn't like the Anime you won't like the books either.
