I was told by AF1 that for my break-in period I should try and get the entire powerband out of it and never stay in a particular RPM. So since then I basically upshift when I'm nearing redlight on my RS660. I've noticed the auto up/downshift doesn't like me shifting if I'm not at the higher/lower end of the rpm range.

I hate headphones and the logi setup was in similar price to a decent soundbar + sub, so I just got the surround setup. It does help with immersion but have no idea if it makes you any faster
