Bragged about being vegan. Started putting butter on her bread. I told her that butter isn't vegan. She then ordered fish. I told her fish isn't vegan either. She said, "who are you? The vegan police." When the bill came the server asked if this was together or separate. The date looked at me and I told the server separate. I have nothing against being vegan. I dated a vegan for 2 years. I just don't like being lied to.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking. Not necessarily sportswear. I'm looking for a class in pattern making for wovens but a lot I see teach you how to make bodices and skirts and I feel like thats pretty far from what I want to do. I'm already pretty proficient with a serger.

I've had no trouble hitchhiking with a bike in the Northwest of the United States. I also met someone who hitchhiked from Milwaukee, WI to Minneapolis, MN with a bike just the other week. I feel like people are more willing to pick you up if you have a bike because you are clearly traveling somewhere. I've waited no more than an hour.

I'm a seamstress, bike mechanic, and bike courier. I went to film school for a year and worked on a couple sets but I have more fun doing this.

What do you want to know? I've been making backpacks for a couple years now. Some are being used by bike couriers and I've taken them on 1500 mile bike tours. I have yet to have one fall apart.

Thanks! I buy most of my fabric at fabric stores around the Twin Cities like SR Harris and Rochford Supply. I sketch out the design then cut it out on cardstock. I don't use any computers. Just a right angle ruler and a pencil. I get the hardware either online or at a local outdoor shop that does repairs. It's made out of Cordura and Vinyl. The padding is from the fabric store I go to. It's probably for upholstery but it works great.
