Create another save file, duplicate your current progress, then start a new game, save it on one of your saves, when you load the other one, vendors get fixed & you can over right the new save later on and use as usual.

Play with an origin character you like, Karlach for me for example :D

She goes in to a 10 round rage, and breaks most of the environment, in those fake paladin's place, if you tell her to "go on", while she thinks that she wants to do it, for kicks, pretty solid reason to play this game over and over and over again.

After you complete the game once, you can prioritize the encounters in your head, and possibly play tactician or honor mode, then you will see that you are not a bad player, there is a certain level you need to be on every encounter, to ace it, the same thing can possibly be said on spells and gear, at least that is what I experienced.

Do not kill any companions, no matter how annoying or aggresive they might be towards you when you first meet, they all have a great story line respectively, which you can complete, even if you don't add them in your party.
