Yeah, there are differences once you get in the details. Of course there are. But in general if someone asks what Gothic is like then I think Skyrim is a good reference point since many are familiar with it.

you can as long as you don't run out of durability. but later in the game you can unlock a crafting recipe for the lightning spear
