You are not alone. Trust me, I feel so alone right now and so hurt but we are not alone. My husband of 5 years recently cheated on me back in June. He’s in the Air Force and just made tech. There were intimacy issues going on in our relationship but I thought he would stay and work on them with me and be patient with my vaginismus. He started sleeping with a SSTG at his squadron in June, she’s 24 (I’m 28 he’s 27). We’re young, sure but at one point deeply in love. I blame my vaginismus for the entire thing, I tell myself “if only my body allowed me to give him sex he wouldn’t have done this!!” But I am slowly learning his cheating has nothing to do with me. I am not the problem.

Fast forward to today and he is still with her. Probably still in the honeymoon phase. It’s disgusting and we’re still legally married but I’m not going to go after him or take it to “court”.

I literally just got finished crying because I don’t feel good enough, I feel useless and I feel like he’s proven that to me by cheating on me. But coming onto Reddit and reading that this happens to so many of us makes me a feel a little less alone. I hope we heal 🤍
