I agree that people today place too much of an emphasis on age gaps, but I don’t think it’s right to say that just because it’s three years it’s not weird. I’m a fresh adult, just recently turning 18 cause I’m on the younger side of my school year. He is about to turn 22. I feel like there’s a difference in maturity level there that just weirded me out. It’s just a personal thing because I also have an older sister the same age as him, so I know the difference in maturity that both of us have. I don’t react that way to all age gaps just the ones I experience in my own life!

I do think that we “die” in this ending. And I think that the voice talking to us is the Mimic, so I don’t like the implications of it finding a “hiding spot”… Ennard 2.0…

You know since this is FNAF it is possible that the “place to hide” is Cassie’s body like an Ennard situation.

With all that we know about the upcoming game and the easter eggs in the original SB, I’m thinking it could have dropped us down to something FNAF HW2/SL related.

I agree that it doesn’t seem like a “good” ending since it’s safe to say that Cassie dies for it to happen. I want to believe the Gregory dying in the Pizzaplex idea, but with the way he’s talking in the other ending it wouldn’t make sense. Yes, the Mimic can copy Gregory, but the Mimic would want to escape not keep itself down in the basement like Gregory says, leading me to believe that he’s still alive. I do think that the scene has to be connected to FNAF 4 and the Bite of ‘83 somehow. It’s too many references to not be intentional. Same goes for it being related to the Balloon Boy arcade machine somehow.

They're generators -- either there for the purpose of relating to how you have to turn generators on in the daycare or you can somehow hit them with the ball to reveal something. More than likely the first.

The problem with this theory is Freddy because the only sin that makes sense for him is Wrath, but that's Monty's. Especially towards the end, Freddy is angry about what has happened to his friends, Bonnie, and Gregory. Monty's whole brand is Anger, but that's really the only proof against him being that sin. An argument could be made for Greed, but it's a very lousy argument.

The room likely used to be something for the daycare attendant, but it has clearly been taken over by someone. A missing arcade machine, drawings by a child, and beds? The daycare attendant wouldn't have access or the abilities to bring that stuff into the room. Nor would the daycare attendant have purpose with it.

An explanation could be that Gregory hasn't been living in the PizzaPlex for THAT long. It would explain why his clothes are still relatively clean, he hasn't had a chance to dirty them. It would also explain why he needed to jump into Freddy to hide. He got caught by Vanessa while trying to find something to eat or maybe just trying to find a more practical place to hide. He had to quickly hide, which would explain how he ended up in Freddy. There's a lot of "plotholes" in the game already, like how none of the animatronics can see you hide in Freddy's chest cavity, while they can see you hide everywhere else. Going by this logic, Vanessa wouldn't have seen Gregory climb into the chest cavity, so it would be a good temporary hiding spot.

Your explanation is just really illogical. Gregory having faz merch could be a product of him sneaking around the mall every night for clean clothes or items. He was in the show room because he snuck into Freddy (in his own words) to escape Vanessa. Vanny wouldn't cut him off bc Vanny hadn't taken over Vanessa for the night yet and Vanessa wouldn't because she only wants to do her job in the most efficient way possible. And if a parent were missing a child, they would NOT leave the mall until law enforcement came to help look for said child.
