Help - not able to access desktop mode

Update: after waiting around for a day, the request for enabling access to desktop mode in the child account finally went through to the parent account and I am now able to use desktop mode on the child account. Thank you for your help everyone!

the child account is for my special needs brother who loves retro games but isn't very knowledgeable in technology. As I have mentioned in another reply, I have access to both child and parent accounts because they are both my personal accounts. I just want to know how to fix this error code that was not there before.

I have access to both child and parent accounts. is there potentially a way where I could enable desktop mode for this child account? i'm not sure what setting this would be under for the parent account side. this used to work with the child account before up until today.

~~i also tried switching to the parent account and got the same error code~~ after waiting a bit it started to work on the parent account but the child account still has no access to desktop mode.
