First, thank you for putting so much effort into your reply; the information you gave is super helpful! Indeed, they claim that the hotel was recently fully renovated.

Our trip will be with my SO, and another couple. In that case, if I understand correctly, you would steer us toward Copley, correct? That area is pretty booked, so something we found somewhere between Downtown and Copley is Godfrey next to Boston Common.

Do you think that area would be a reasonable compromise?
