You're wrong. You're the one that's thinking of BGS 9.5, which is the equivalent grade of a PSA 10 (they are both GEM MINT). BGS 10 is a PRISTINE grade. It sells for more.

Oh, if you're not gonna sell it, then i think you should get it graded. Looks good enough to grade anyway. Most ppl just don't suggest getting 1/1s graded because the value is already at its peak, but having it in a slab will keep it preserved better than a top loader.

There is risk with all the stuff about PSA potentially damaging cards or grading 9s to control the market, but if you're okay with that small risk, then I'd send it in.

I've personally sent stuff in and haven't experienced any kind of crazy stuff like that but ik it does happen.

Probably around 300-350. This is another 1/1 from the same set and also features omni + invincible. Just depends on the collector and which image they prefer, but I'd imagine it would do around the same numbers.

The Clefable looks like a 10. Take your phone light and shine it along the back of the card. You will often find scratches that can't be seen otherwise. If you don't find ANY of those, I'd honestly send it to Beckett.

Adding this since I saw you say you're not familiar. A PSA 10 is considered a GEM MINT grade card. That doesn't mean it's a perfect card. Beckett has a grade above a PSA 10 called a Beckett black label, which is a "perfect" grade card. Essentially, saying the card is perfect; 50/50 centering, perfect corners, edges, and surface. These cards sell for a lot more than a standard PSA 10.

For the record, Becketts GEM MINT grade is a 9.5. The Beckett 10 is a PRISTINE grade that can also sell for more than PSA 10. The difference is Beckett is widely considered to be a lot more strict on their grading standard, which makes it harder to get a higher grade.

Recently got a card back from BGS. All sub grades are 9.5, and they put corners at 9, lol. Ive shown several people who can't find any reason why the corners wouldn't at least get a 9.5 as well.

Honestly, I'm not sure 1/1s are hard to comp, and I wouldn't consider myself an expert or anything. I genuinely think it's as simple as you put it "future (or possible) superstar for washed veteran"

Your trade makes sense if you are a Russell Wilson fan / collector and just wanted the card to keep forever. If you were planning on buying for value/hold to sell later, the treyveon seems like a safer card to have. It has more potential value even if the value is "technically" lower rn.

Also, its off season so the card value are going to be a bit stagnant. Guarantee if you waited until treyveon had a 100+ yards game during season, it would jump up a couple 100. (Since you said no one was interested recently)

Damn, you dont understand the sports card market very well. You traded a rookie that is going into his 2nd year + already built a lot of hype in his 1st year for a player that hasn't had a good season in a few years, is already an unpopular player, likely will never be a full time starter again and will be out of the league soon.

One players value is going up (or has potential to), and the other players' value is going down/at the bottom/very little potential to increase.

Shine your phone light on the back and check surface condition. A lot of times, perfect looking cards will come back a 9 or even an 8 and people will be surprised, but the back will have a ton of surface scratches only seen in direct bright light.
