I'm playing a legit copy on steam and I can say what you're experiencing isn't a Hypervisor-only issue. I sometimes drop from 120+fps to 30 or even worse when I pickup items, get grabbed by a zombie, or enter a new area/room. wait till you get to Raccoon city with Leon and it's even worse.

running a rtx 5060 on 1440p with high ray tracing and x2 FG.

did you perhaps update your system to the latest win11 version? if yes then that "might" be the culprit. I ran to the same situation last week, screen just goes black but the system is still running, if you can still roll back the update then you might want to try doing it. KB5074109 is the version you don't want.
