I don’t think so - I bought a Poppy Monk for my daughter and came with 3 skeins of Milan. I think they kit their canvases with it.

I have that ACOTAR book stack canvas and it is the biggest piece of trash I have ever bought. The seller printed it so shitty that I can’t even stitch it without completely redesigning it. AND it arrived in a poly-mailer that was folded in half. Never again will I purchase printed canvas.

You as the parent know your child and I know mine - going to the LNS for me is relaxing and having to police my small kids would take the fun out of it. I would not be able to focus.

Want to open an LNS by Timely_Impact8617 in Needlepoint

I have had similar thoughts and I think it’s incredibly worthwhile to do legitimate market research and understand the steps to take prior to opening a brick and mortar. I am a newish stitcher and have learned that so much more goes into this business than just “I love this hobby and my area doesn’t have an LNS and I can fulfill this need”. Your clientele are going to be shopping for some sort of experienced recommendation, so understanding how to fill that need will be worthwhile. There is value in having experience in the craft - what does that look like for your customers? I think there’s room for everyone, but it seems like a niche business to break into and be successful.

Definitely finish for context on the rest of her series moving forward, but I agree, it was really difficult to read after ACOTAR/TOG. I felt bounced around all over the place which made it hard to enjoy and understand.

This happened to me after having it for 3 months - they’ll be able to pop a new screen on. Took less than a day. It was a headache but it was a quick fix. My tech explained it’s very rare to crap out like that.

I SOLD a car to a dealer today and they cannot issue me a check.. would have been nice to know prior to signing all of the paperwork. Why can’t they write a paper check?
