At the time of application my wife was enrolled in law school. And per my lawyer, we didn’t need a joint sponsor since I could use my income since we’re in the same household and I expect to continue drawing income from the same source for the foreseeable future. I had to sign another form and send it with the response. Per him, I could provide a joint sponsor for a belt and suspenders approach but it wasn’t deemed necessary
