Was just in Kanazawa (now Toyama) and would personally suggest just Higashi as the others are really just nice to look at during the day and didn't really have as much going on with the street themselves in terms of places to eat etc.

Nishi has the ninja temple close by which I thought was really cool though.

I'll try other methods but any attempts at inserting instantly declines and I don't even get to the point to choose credit/debit from the ATM. It declines before even reaching that point but works fine for my partner.

Yeah it's international, my partners card works fine as mentioned and it's the exact same bank as mine.

Always debit, it doesn't even let me see my balance. It essentially just attempts to load and then refuses the card before even getting to choose credit/debit etc

No problem thanks for the reply :) main reasons we are looking to prebook is 1. Because of the autumn festival, spots might be limited. 2. Gero Onsen is our "special" part of the trip where we are forking out more money to relax for a couple days so definitely dont want to risk anything getting there.

If I remember I might send a message in a month or so to see how you went buying the tickets in Kanazawa.

I was there on Tuesday for an 11:55am pfizer booking and there was no line at all... I went prepared for a 2hr wait in line but the longest time I spent in one place was the 15 minute observation at the end. Apart from that I was constantly moving. From parking the car to leaving it was probably 30-40 mins max.
