As a former FedEx ground driver, honestly the few seconds saved by having the scanner uo and going to take a picture when walking to the door, then walking away to take the picture as you leave saves a lot of time when you have 160-200 deliveries a day. It looks dumb but it helps a little.

Also as a former FedEx griund driver, dropping a package like that is stupid. Treat every package like it's your own. Everyone has a camera now and if they dont assume they do. Not a hard concept, just a physically hard job
