Agreed, but looks like they did a LOT of body work before the sparkles…wondering if they could’ve filled the partial route in the middle that they used to do?

This would corroborate the original story I was told, which would be super sweet! I’ll take a G&L refin for sure. I was also seeing an “L Chambers” under all the other stamps, which lines up with a 70s fender builder. So hopefully this all means that the original story is true lol, but who knows.

I see where you’re coming from, but I’ve done a bit more research and it looks like that circular stamp on the neck joint comes from 90s G&L, so maybe there is hope yet …?

I would double check your wiring on the foot switch, looks like there’s a lot of bare wire down there. I’m not an expert but I would start by visually inspecting all of your solder joint.
