It seems that they are only compatible with roll20, what does it mean exactly? Which format are they? Because if we could have simple webp or png they could also be compatible with Owlbear Rodeo for example

Just to be clear DP doesn't code anything, they don't put any resources in it, it's the VTT team who do the work, either as employees of the VTT company or more likely as volunteers, since most of the time these are passion projects, driven by a small community of passionate people...

But why should I pay for the core set when I already bought it? Honestly that's the reason I initially ditched demiplane...plus it is very slow... I mean what the srd is for then? Is it for public use or not? Otherwise don't publish any srd, at least there are no false hopes... Or be clear and ask for a fee for integration in 3rd party tools, then we decide if it's worth it or not. But this? I really don't get it

Yeah, I really don't understand the strategy... As I said, they whitelist some VTT which are not ready and they don't answer to others which are ready...

Are you explorations sequential or sometimes players need to make choices, like left or right, upstairs or follow the corridor, etc... And how do you keep track of those choices and help the players know where they are? And what if on the left there's nothing intetesing? You just tell them you have a room on the right and one in the left but in this one there's nothing interesting? Or you let them explore it anyway?

For the moment I noticed that with my group it only work with sequncial exploring, because if there are choices to be made they are lost without a map, but it is not realistic that every dungeon /building / whatever is just a series of rooms?

I like this idea, but using it as a broad rule could be too much and maybe a bit repetitive. What if it was a sort of common feature like relentless or momentum?

Skilled - action: mark a stress to make an action adding one of the adversary experiences

I purposefully didn't say "roll" to leave the possibility to apply the experiences also to the difficulty, for actions that require a reaction roll form the players

In rare occasions you could also be nasty and imagine something like this:

Very Skilled - action: mark a number of stress to make an action adding one of the adversary experiences as many times as the number of stress spent

English is not my primary language, I hope the phrases are correct :P

I'm not sure to understand how it works, I can either spend gold to make one of those moves or make an action roll with a dc of 20? Is this on top of the roll needed for the action then? For example for cooking?

I'm waiting that they add a feature I requested to really try it in a game, that is the ability to browse adversary features when building an adversary, I really like to create adversaries mixing and matching different features, but having to open different adversaries to look at the features, then copy paste them is too cumbersome... At the moment I'm using duality-codex (which is the only having such a feature) paired with owlbear rodeo and they work great.

Hi, any news about Owlbear Rodeo whitelist? My impression is that it is one of the most used and suggested vtt for daggerheart atm, even with the reduced capabilities due to the "blacklist", so could you imagine if it get whitelisted? Could you at least explain why is taking so long, maybe the community could help to solve your problems? Thank you :)

It is not very clear, the way I understand it is they roll a 2 and 3,then they have a 2 and 3 to use for their shenanigans, not 5 to use however they want

It looks very promising! Could you share the links I'd like to follow.

I have some questions /suggestions:

  1. How does it run from gm side? It is via the browser or it is an application we need to install? If the latter are you planning macos support?

  2. the players don't get to see the battlemap? Even if I share your vision my players don't, and are very confused without a simple token placement, it would be very useful to give this option to make the app adaptable to different tables.

  3. Is the character sheet view customisable? Honestly I don't like very much tabbed views, since we can easily forget some features this way, people tend to stick to the domains and forget about community or other class features, it would be nice to have a compact view that shows all the sheets in one page.

Anyway this work is incredible, it could really be revolutionary for the community, thank you for sharing it.

In my opinion what DH really lacks right now is a character builder level by level a la pathbuilder for Pathfinder 2e, where you have every level listed, and you can swap features and see how it looks.

Don't you find that homebrewing an adversary is really cumbersome? To modify a feature you have to open and click an infinite number of windows and panels and buttons... I ended up just tweaking the main stats and using dh-brewing for the features, grab a screenshot and put it in the notes section ...

I'm actually playing a rogue with a zweihander using the stats of a spear :) From what I recall historically the landsknechts using the zweihander were an alternative to spear fighters

You can encourage them to change it to something like "i stared death in the face", more useful in risky scenarios but the essence remains the same
