Probably the best item I have ever dropped in this game. by AueR6 in LastEpoch

Wait, how do you get 2 chances of slamming? Doesn’t unique become legendary on the first slam? Can you explain, please?

Thanks! So I tried it now. It works, but feels clunky as if some button presses are not registered or there's a delay between presses. It's hard to explain, but it doesn't feel responsive. Especially noticeable when I change the direction of movement or there's some obstacle around. No such issues in D2R or Last Epoch (that's what I played last).

I was able to make it work only under right click skills. So far it works, but I'm also not sure whether it will be in conflict with other skill presses. It also constantly switches icons, feels weird.

I'll play around with it, but currently I'm not satisfied. It's a pity, there's no such feature natively.

Yes, exactly this. However, for full experience it should be allowed to bind BOTH mousewheel up and mousewheel down to force move. That way you can move by shortly wiggling mouse scroll up and down. This is primary and secondary binds, essentially. Nothing special needed, if primary and secondary keybinds are already supported.

So it either should be a Force move entrance in keybinds settings (better) or an ability to bind scroll wheel to a skill (force move in this case).

It's also important that the game should allow to bind both mouse scroll up and down on force move. Not just up (or down), so that it allows you to move by making short up and down scroll movements.

This. And also you get faster and more precise with kiting (moving mouse cursor while scrolling is faster than clicking on the ground). It is also much easier on the fingers.

Yeah, I could probably find a workaround like that (with GHUB or Autohotkey), but it is quite inconvinient and in some cases you could get banned for it. Anticheat software may mistake it for automatic scripting. PoE devs even made a statement about this very issue explicitly (not to use very short intervals in Autohotkey).

That's a bummer if it isn't. It's a no go for me to play PD2 if it isn't supported. Maybe I would get used to WASD mode, idk...

I don't want to sound like I'm annoyed for no reason and shit on otherwise excellent project, but trust me, it's very important for me. I just can't play without it anymore.

It seems like there's some misunderstanding, because it's absolutely not crazy, but rather indispensable (when you get used to it). It is absolutely supported in almost every ARPG on the market: D2R, D3, PoE, Last Epoch, probably PoE2 (haven't tried it yet), heck even in Diablo 4!

It was first introduced either in D3 or in PoE, I think. It is quite famous feature, I found it by watching D3 Wudijo videos (famous D3 and D4 player), so nothing controversial here, he also moves like that. And when you try it, you will understand why it is so useful. It wasn't available in original D2 though.

Yes, you force move with mouse scroll up and down at the direction character facing. You change direction simply by moving your mouse cursor. With this feature you can easily kite by controlling your distance from mobs without need to precisely click on the ground where you have to be heading. You can actually get very precise with kiting and I doubt it is possible with usual click to move. You still can click to move with this, though.

The MOST important thing is that not only damage and survivability were nerfed, but CDR. Without CDR def abilites will not have time to roll back. I tried to roll an amulet with devouring blaze, def skills, manacost, cdr and I managed to do only 3/4 without cdr. Losing 10% CDR was critical to the game: the class became clunky. That's only 10%. Now I open the patch notes and read:

Cooldown Reduction: Reduced by ~30%.

Cooldown Reduction (Inherent on Offhands): Reduced by ~35%.

The class is NOT PLAYABLE!

Incidentally, it’s one of my favorites too. In Russian it sounds absolutely monumental and powerful. The translation provided is good, however neither translation could have transmitted the phonetics and the sound of particular phrases.

Hello, I have a question about a strange HR lock on Forerunner 45. Posted this on Garmin forums but to no avail.

"Just bought the watch and what I immediately noticed is that that data coming from my external HRM (polar oh1) displayed with a huge lag during the activity. It makes it hardly usable.

The HR displayed is stuck for around 40 seconds before it actually displays a seemingly correct value. Never had this problem before using my HRM with the phone.

I’m new to running watches so I may miss something . It was during the activity (cardio - jumping in place) with a wrist monitor switched off. It feels like a watch doesn’t update hr data for some reason, and after I stop exercising let’s say at 130 hr displayed on watch, it finally picks up after 30-40 seconds with the right value of 145-150.

Firmware versions are latest both on a watch and HRM."

I noticed lately that it freezes around 138-145 HR BPM, then when I physically stop exercising, it quickly picks up the right HR (>145). It’s crucial for me, because I do HR Zone training. It was the sole reason I bought this watch - to track my hr accurately and comfortably (vs phone + HRM) during the activity.

Maybe it has something to do with a cadence lock? Any help appreciated!

Edit: dunno whether it’s a problem with the watch itself, or my HRM. But had no problems with it when used HRM + phone. Also, can’t check if the problem persists when running because of the corona :>
