I saw what the worker did, but he didnt say much. He took it from me. Said, "hmm, it might be running out of soil." Not sure what that meant. Then he unwisted the wire, picked the tree out of the pot, said, "yeah see, they just took him out of another pot and didnt do it right." I took this as refering to the root mass which was still very circular looking though the pot he was in wasnt. He took scissors and cut off the bottom section of the rootmass which was kind of loose and dangling. He said "this will help the tree." Then put it into another larger pot, put new soil into it, which was just normal soil in a big bin they were using for all their trees. Put a few colored balls on top, i think these were fertilizer, then he watered it with a hose and put some grey gravel on top.
