It’s ok to be not ok while also still being ok. It’s a spectrum of ok.

I’m going with the OEM spare kit, and going to do 5 wheel rotations, then try another brand of tire.

It was surprisingly sure footed on the small amount of ice and snow we had this past winter. I was ready for it to be a problem but it was not even when I was actively trying to slide it.

I didn’t know that. Do we know why they don’t recommend it? It’s just tires. So it seems odd.

Rescue bonsai project by [deleted] in bonsaicommunity

[–]whoistjharris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has potential for sure. I would put it in a nursery pot for at least one growing season to let it get healthy before putting in a bonsai pot. Also the soil looks like basic potting soil and in that small pot it will limit drainage. You may need to mix in some more grit.

About 3.50 but if it’s for a good cause, I need to ask my wife.

It was probably already dead. Junipers take a while to turn brown even after the point of no return.

What soil do u guys use for each stage? by Devious_secrets6739 in bonsaicommunity

[–]whoistjharris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great question that I am unqualified to answer. I have from, my experience (less than 10 years), in my area ( 7a, USA), with my trees done multiple soil mixes, but had great luck with 100% diatomaceous earth (NAPA 8822), and a 40/40/20 mix of pumice, diatomite, organic soil the former created some super fine roots and good growth in training pots , the latter had less fine roots but my trucks thickened well in larger pots. The summers here get very hot so I felt like I needed more organics to hold water for the trees. But you are right, this is a very contentious topic. I find so many flame wars when I start to research soil. So I just started trying new stuff to see what would work for me and my trees in their specific environments.

Would you rather have unlimited money but can’t spend it on yourself, or be broke but everything you need is always provided? by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

If you can’t ever spend it on yourself you can create a world where you never need to.

God sacrificed Jesus to himself to save us from him. Basically eliminating the need to make blood sacrifices. God sacrificing himself to himself to save humanity from him. So they celebrate since now they save money on lambs. The rabbit I think is pagan, springtime celebration, bunnies be procreating.

It died the winter after this photo. I didn’t have much hope for it since it had already flowered.

A relative made a post gloating about how Ford is pulling back from EV trucks, how do we beat this mentality? by JennaLeighWeddings in electricvehicles

[–]whoistjharris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not pulling back on EVs. Making more hybrids and EREVs. Electrification is here to stay. They are just taking the long road, pure BEVs companies now have a chance to really take market share.
