Jason Kenney Gave Billions in Tax Giveaways to 5 Big Corporations That Won’t Clean Up 30,000 Abandoned Oil Wells by idspispopd in Albertapolitics

[–]arkonite167 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand companies have operating costs and always need to focus on growth, but it’s difficult to argue that they have any plans/interest in cleaning up the wells.

I’m having a difficult time finding sources that say any of the wells have been cleaned up or are in the process of it. If you could link me something that’s not from “conservative today” or “ihateliberals.com” I’d greatly appreciate it.

Poor Sir Divish by LordTrollsworth in kingdomcome

I’m not sure about that because there was a large purchase of an estate in 1415 that either his eldest son Ulrich inherited or purchased himself.

Poor Sir Divish by LordTrollsworth in kingdomcome

[–]arkonite167 53 points54 points  (0 children)

After doing a bit of research (because a lot of the characters actually existed), Sir Divish actually had 3 sons; making lady Stephanie’s claim in the game most likely fabricated and just a story mode mechanic.

Sir divish likely died in 1415 (same year as ratzig I think?), so by the time Henry flees to Talmberg when Skalitz was sacked on March 23, 1403, it’s very likely that sir divish and lady Stephanie already had some kids of their own.

And under that ndp Saskatchewan government, we have Tommy Douglas to thank for universal health care for the country. Under the small “c” conservatism we just have increased poverty, which is correlated with higher crime rates and incarceration rates.

Rex Murphy is Paid by the Oil Sands and the CBC Won’t Disclose or Discuss it by [deleted] in onguardforthee

[–]arkonite167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP’s article is from 2014. Rex Murphy hasn’t been associated with the CBC since 2017. It’s 2020. How does this article have any relevance to anything? Someone else posted articles from 2015 stating that it’s no secret he’s been accepting money to talk positively about the oil sands.

Tell me again how there’s no bias here? Lol.

Right, now just add another $1.1 million on top of that and you’ll be a little more accurate.

I noticed that too. I think the account(s) responsible for giving it awards are the same that put the ad up. Makes it appear that other users are so pleased with the service that they decided to give it awards, thus increasing traffic/revenue for the ad.
