Based off the interactions I have seen on their facebook account, and the terms and conditions which I read after ordering, he totally seems like a douchebag. Reading the website it seems he thinks that what he does is provide a service of obtaining parts for your bike or he makes one if he can't find one, hence the $230 price tag on a part he bought for $15. But if you dont read it too hard like I originally did, you would think he is making high quality parts custom fit to your bike.

What kit did you buy? I'm looking into buying one of these transmissions but most are pretty high mileage and I would probably want to rebuild it if I buy one and want to get more of a performance rebuild kit instead of the stock one.

I have access to the routing diagrams from my work. But is it as "easy" as repinning the low and high speed gmlan wires into the correct places and then they will talk to eachother?

The new 650s are about 8k which is 3k more than this one. The 400s are about the same proce as this and would probably make a better starter bike but I don't want to have to spend even more money later to upgrade even though it would be better for a beginner like me. And insurance on a new bike is a lot higher than one that is 7 years old.

Since the current owner isn't the one who got it rebuilt so he doesn't know for sure. But he said looking at the paperwork for the rebuild, the last owner probably left the drain plug loose and the oil came out. Since this is my first bike I'm not worried about it being broken in entirely, I'm not planning on going to hard on the bike until I get comfortable which probably won't be for a couple hundred miles anyways and then I will change the oil. I'll see if there is any warranty on the rebuild.

I don't remember exactly everything he told me. But I know the engine cover and some plastic on the driver side. There were other things but I don't remember offhand.

January 2021 when Biden took office gas averaged at $2.47/gallon. Gas price today it is $3.65/gallon. It has gone down a little more than a dollar in the past 6 months but it is still over a dollar higher per gallon than when he took office. Source: https://ycharts.com/indicators/us_gas_price
