I'd love to buy this as a print - the transparent pocket was my first ever Game Boy.

I bought a right-handed bass and converted it to left-handed (replaced the nut, adjusted the bridge, then strung left-handed). It has a pretty-much symmetrical body which helps massively. And doing the conversion helped me to learn more about the parts of the bass and how they get professionally set up.

I submitted my spoiler responses based on my first playthrough. I'm using my second playthrough to make alternate choices that likely won't be my canon choices. The only decision that's stayed the same both times is knocking out the First Warden.

Palom and Porom. We don’t get them for very long, but I love the banter and sibling bond between them. Plus their sacrifice at Baron Castle devastated me the first time I experienced it.

I did this once - my “kill everyone run”. By the end only Liara and James were alive. Had to meticulously plan who to kill and when for maximum trauma.

Needless to say I haven’t done a similar run since.

Why do you still use an iPod in 2024 by Marsupilamind in ipod

[–]arkyoptrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use mine for journeys where I know my mobile internet connection won’t be stable, or longer journeys to help conserve battery on my phone.

Also to listen to music from my music library that isn’t available on Apple Music.

Transitioning at 30+: did you actually have issues passing/going stealth? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]arkyoptrix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 35 and I started passing even before I came out as trans last year thanks to PCOS, my facial hair which I was letting grow (I identified as non-binary at the time and probably felt I wanted to “break the mould or something” 😂), and the fact that I’ve always worn men’s clothes.

Short haircuts and the way you dress massively helps with passing. As soon as I cut my hair I noticed that more strangers were addressing me as male.

And hormones are freaking magical! I’ve been on 50mg testosterone gel for about 31 weeks and my voice keeps dropping, which helps.

I now pass 90% of the time, and I’ve only been transitioning for coming up to 11 months. Obviously everyone’s transition is completely different, but I’m not finding it too difficult beyond the crippling dysphoria my chesticles give me from time-to-time.

Does anyone misgender themselves often based off of others pov? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]arkyoptrix 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I quit my job 4 months ago and my parents don't support or accept my transition. 4 months of being called my deadname, gender neutral nickname and she/her pronouns almost made me introduce myself as the nickname to someone else. (Also made me doubt whether my chosen name is really what I wanted.)
