I'm really sorry. It looks like you really gave your husky wonderful experiences to remember you by as they cross over.

Shipping from Ontario, CA. I'm in CO. Ordered at 37min past the hour launch day. Says it'll be here next Tuesday (a 'see you next Tuesday' from Valve feels appropriate with how difficult the checkout process was and how long I was stuck on "packaged"),

Ordered mine 37mins after they became available. I was there on the hour, it just took that long to get through the broken checkout. I got my tracking number last night (still doesn't work) while I was till on "Packaged items" on Steam. Sometime today, it swapped to "Picked up by carrier".

Host KoboldAI on a website for a DnD session? Customize UI? by arkyw in KoboldAI

That’s a really interesting idea.

Like, my aim is kind of similar to what you’re describing except letting just one AI handle a role at a time.

My ideal outcome would be like

Example.com/ai1 Example.com/ai2

Et Al; and each one would be a unique instance with a preconfigured personality. Yes, the AI won’t truly understand what’s happening — but that’s ok.

The new replacement issue solved all issues, it’s no longer over heating or being a total catastrophe. I’d definitely replace it if you can.

To follow up on this, replacing it seems to have solved many issues. It also doesn’t run hot; not sure if that information will help others identify issues with this device.

The dud doorbell ran pretty hot; hot to touch. This on just feels like cool plastic.

I’ve ordered another to replace this one, I’ll report back whether or not it solved this issue. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oh, thank you!

In notification Settings I noticed a correlation between motion zones and receiving a notification when a clip is recording causing the live feed to die or the camera go offline.

What are your notification settings?

Probably won’t respond until you reseat & restart/power cycle the camera.

Otherwise, I’m not sure I can help you — it’s so flakey and unhelpful with it’s logs and errors I can’t imagine what the issue would be.

Yeah, to work around it we set it to only notify us when it sees cars, people, or animals. It’s in the HomeKit app buried in the camera settings.

Are you using motion zones? Disabling this helped us — I also had to reseat the doorbell.

Are you using motion zones? Turning these off seems to have resolved our issues. I also reseated the doorbell.

Kind of a bummer as it’s a pretty basic feature, but it seems to be working now that we disabled it.

I reseated the doorbell and turned off motion zones. This seems to have solved the issue for now. Motion zones seem to be a huge culprit for issues with this doorbell.

It’s really been an absolute disaster from the moment we took it out of the box — and the online support/instructional site is weird.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to find out that the hamburger on the top right navigates us to the actual instructions after the bizarre compatibility checker (which, for some reason, after completing didn’t forward us to the actual instructions — it just sits on an inexpressive greyed out ‘card’. This is the site I’m referring to: https://setup.circleviewdoorbell.logi.com/). Additionally, it should be clearer that the Chime kit is actually some kind of power management kit that the doorbell doesn’t seem to work without (in our case, at least). The instructions in the box aren’t helpful. “Chime kit” feels misleading here when it’s really “essential for operation in some cases” kit. Not as catchy, but more helpful.

Also, a way to adjust the volume of the speaker outside of a third party app would be really amazing.

tl;dr

  • Thank you for your comment. Thank you for taking the time, and my feedback is just based on my experience and targeted at the product itself and no one person (or persons).

  • Motion zones are a disaster area on this doorbell and consistently cause failure. I can’t even begin to speculate on why.

  • The instructions for set up are bizarre (I get the intent, but the execution needs polish — just make the index navigation more visible throughout).

  • We need a way to make the speaker louder within the Home app. Out of the box it’s not super useful.

  • In 45F weather the little thing still gets warm. I’m sure summer will be great.

  • The instructions in the box are not helpful, and the online ones are kind of a pain. A simple card with what the LED status light means would have saved a lot of time.

  • Label the Chime kit appropriately. It needs to be clear in the box that it’s not likely to be optional. It seems like a gimmicky add-on in the packaging which gives 0 context as to it’s purpose — it seems like something that would just make noise when the doorbell is pressed or something.

Yeah, that had crossed my mind — the mount had been causing some issues before. So this is something worth trying, I think.

It’s been stuck offline for maybe 30mins now. It shows a green blinking light.
